Weathervanes
Dutch Barns carries a large selection of 24" to 30" weathervanes. These great additions are all hand cast from 100% recycled, rust free aluminum and can be topped off with anything from a dog to a duck, from a horse to a hog. Chances are we probably have a weathervane, or can get one, to match your particular interest.

Centuries ago, weathervanes were one of the first instruments to detect changes in the weather by pointing in the direction from which the wind was blowing. The Tower Of Winds in Athens, Greece (48 BC), topped with its Triton weathervane, is among the earliest archaeological examples. Over the uears, a variety of ornaments have been created to display various cultural, religious, and patriotic themes.
